ABOUT US

Our goal at the TRD Workshop is to make long-lasting goods out of the highest quality leathers.  From start to finish, all of the items in our shop are made entirely by hand.  That means all of the cutting, tooling, staining, edge burnishing, and stitching are meticulously thought out to produce the highest quality pieces that we can.

Most of the leathers that we use are from tanneries in the U.S.A., although, some leather out of Italy are irresistibly unique.  Every item is made from vegetable tanned leather, which is the centuries old technique that relies on natural bark and vegetative matter to soften and preserve leathers.  Not only is this tradition, but it is thoughtful to the environment since it does not rely on harsh chemicals and pollutants.
